This qualification is designed for department heads and other practising middle managers.
Course content
The units in this qualification cover a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding. They can be selected by an employer to meet their training needs. Alternatively we recommend two units that will enable learners to gain the full Award:
- Developing and leading teams to achieve organisational objectives: to develop understanding and ability in developing and leading teams.
- Becoming an effective leader: to develop knowledge and understanding of effective leadership.
Learners will receive trainer-led workshops for each unit and will produce a written assignment of 2500 words for each unit.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Additional information
This qualification is delivered on an employer’s site for a group of their employees, not on campus for individuals to attend. Delivery dates are agreed in advance with the employer.
The two units recommended above are delivered over five days. A formal quote can be issued once we understand your training need.
