Why students love learning at Coleg Gwent!
滨迟鈥檚, so we鈥檙e introducing you to some of our learners and sharing their success and journey through college so far.
Meet Jesse Moody, 18, a Level 2听Mechanical Engineering听student at our听Crosskeys campus听who is loving the practical aspects of the course in the workshops and in the future would like to have his own workshop working on small machinery.
鈥淚 grew up on a farm and was always fiddling around with machinery. I鈥檝e always had an interest in engineering. All the staff and tutors are really helpful and treat you as an equal.
鈥淚 preferred the workshops at Coleg Gwent鈥檚听Crosskeys campus, compared to other colleges and feedback from friends who were already studying at Coleg Gwent was great.鈥�
Jesse, who is currently on an听apprenticeship听with Doncasters, plans to move onto Level 3 and possibly an HND after completing Level 2.
鈥淎s I was home educated, I was really nervous about coming back to a college environment, but I settled in quickly,鈥� he added.
